This NCCAOM approved 12-hour course covers safety requirements, injection protocols and techniques. We will discuss and utilize injectable homeopathics, vitamins, minerals, other nutritional substances, and local anesthetics. Every participant received a flash drive including all material presented in class along with lists of distributors so that you know where to acquire medical products and injectable solutions. You also will receive a ’starter kit’ with all the supplies you need to inject on Monday when you are back to work. Class restricted to licensed acupuncturists and acupuncture students (upon approval).
Point injection therapy is included in the Acupuncture Scope of Practice for 9 states – AZ, CO, FL, NM,NV, MT, SC, UT, WA. Each state has a different scope, and this will be discussed. The techniques taught in this course can be used in all 9 states.
Participants will engage in palpation and assessment of muscle, soft tissue & joints, identifying Ahshi and Trigger points, then perform & receive injections. Dr. Shultz will address some of the most missed sources for chronic neck pain and how to treat them with injections. Ear injections and scar therapies will also be presented.
