8 hour In Person Advanced Training Level 2

October 25, 2026 8 PDA’s 8am – 5pm

In this NCBAHM-approved advanced course, you will develop refined injection techniques for complex musculoskeletal conditions. Training includes treatment of sciatic pain—addressing the psoas, piriformis, and L5 nerve root—as well as upper extremity conditions such as tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome. Lower extremity applications will cover knee pain, ankle sprain/strain, plantar fasciitis, and bone pecking techniques to chronic lax ligaments such as  sacro iliac joint, cervical and lumbar facet joints, to enhance ligament stability.

INSTRUCTORS:

Susan Shultz, DC, LAc., AEMP is a dual licensed practitioner. She has been using Point Injection therapy in her primarily orthopedic practice since 1994 and has worked extensively with her state association, WAEMA, to pass legislation making Washington State Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine scope what it is today.

Jessica Gallegos-White, LAc., DAHM utilizes PIT in her family practice daily to treat pain management, infertility, PTSD, neuropathy, and vitamin deficiencies. She is passionate about contributing to the growth and competency of licensed acupuncturists through evidence-informed injection therapies.

Dave Flater has been practicing Point Injection Therapy (PIT) since 2005 and is licensed to practice in both Utah and Montana. He earned his Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College in San Diego in 2020. In addition to his clinical work, David has served as a teaching assistant for PIT courses in Utah and Washington, bringing his extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to support student learning.
